Welcome to Edgewood Manor of Lucasville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, a Medicare- and Medicaid-certified skilled nursing center in Lucasville, Ohio. Whether you need short-term rehabilitation or long-term skilled nursing care, our team of professionals is ready to provide customized care in a comfortable, home-like setting in our two facilities, Lucasville I and II. Lucasville I features a secure memory care unit exclusively for women, as well as skilled nursing and long-term care. Lucasville II features long-term care alongside short-term rehabilitation, behavioral health, and specialized memory care units for men and those with advanced dementia. These specialized units allow our teams to provide compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of all our guests.

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our Administrator!
Whitney has spent the past 16 years in long-term care, her story starting at the bedside as a CNA and she just kept wanting to learn more. From those first days caring directly for residents to now leading the teams at Edgewood Manor of Lucasville I & II, one thing has never changed her heart for the people we care for.
Whitney believes the most important parts of healthcare happen in the smallest moments. A conversation, a laugh, a handheld, or simply making someone feel seen and valued can mean more than we realize. She prefers to advocate for those she feels need the most support and a sense of belonging.
She’ll tell you that being an Administrator isn’t always easy (and she may occasionally remind you that there are, in fact, a lot of moving parts), but the smiles and laughter of our residents are what make it worth it.
Outside of work, Whitney loves spending time with her favorite people, pausing for the beautiful scenery, exploring new places, listening to music, and making lasting memories along the way. She’s happiest when life is a little adventurous, a little chaotic, and surrounded by good people.
When asked what she loves most about long-term care, the answer has always been pretty simple:
The heart of it 🩷
The residents who become family. The team members who show up every day and give their best. And the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life, even in ways that may seem small.

We had a wonderful monthly visit from the ladies of Rarden Community Church! 💕 Our residents enjoyed listening to them sing, sharing in prayer, playing bingo, and enjoying some delicious cupcakes. 🧁🎶🙏
